First though, I want to introduce you ( re-introduce you 😉) to headless eCommerce.

It lets developers be able to customize stores for store owners and build online stores and store parts (like a sweet customized cart) quickly and easily while still utilizing the Shopify backend (like creating products and content).
Shopify also came out with a hosting platform called Oxygen which makes it really easy to develop and deploy your new, customized, lightening-quick store.
